Reds To Face Holders At Oakwell!!!!

Waiting for a decent Barnsley FC cup draw is just like waiting for a bus. You wait ages and ages (nine years to be exact) and two come along at once! Avram Grant's Chelsea boys will be next to try their luck against the Reds!

It's been TEN long years since the Reds got as far as this when they were knocked out by Newcastle 3-1 in the quarters after defeating Manchester United in the fifth round after a replay.

Chelsea come to Oakwell as holders of the FA Cup and their last visit ended in a 6-0 win, four goals coming from would-be manager Gianluca Vialli. Gus Poyet and Dan Petrescu got the other two.

No date or time or ticketing arrangements have been announced as of yet but the tie will be played over the weekend of the 8th and 9th of March 2008.
