Barnsley will be without three players for Friday night’s clash with Colchester United at Oakwell.
The Reds will attempt to win three games in a row for the first time since February 2013 without on loan duo Ryan Williams and Marcello Trotta plus homegrown midfielder Paul Digby.
Digby, 19 has been called up to England Under 20 squad to face Canada and Portugal, Williams, 21, is in the Australia Under 23 squad to face Brazil, China and Korea whilst Trotta, 22 has been named in the Italy Under 21 squad who will take on Denmark.
Due to three players being called up for international duty, Barnsley could have applied to the Football Association to have the match with Colchester postponed, but they have opted against this.
