Reserves result: Barnsley 1 Walsall 1

A very young reserves side was held to a 1-1 draw by Walsall this afternoon in almost freezing conditions.

The Reds took the lead from a corner on 20 minutes with a header from Rob Atkinson (who had made the first team bench for the first time against Peterborough last night).

Walsall levelled after 65 minutes when Nathan Jameson scored from inside the six yard box.

Reds line-up: Alcock, Heslop, Harban, Laight, Atkinson, Tonge, Batley, Wroe, Oldham, Jones, Williams (Beevor 67).
Subs: Shackelton, Holt, Loukes.
