Former Barnsley owner Peter Ridsdale is refusing to comment on speculation that he is in talks to buy out League One crisis club Wrexham.
Local reports claim Ridsdale has held meetings with Wrexham Council leaders over the possibility of taking over the financially-stricken Welsh outfit.
The Dragons have already lost 10 points this season after going into administration.
But Ridsdale would only tell the South Wales Post: ''I'm not commenting on any specific club at the moment.''
Tykes Mad's view on Ridsdale going back into football?
Mixed at best - while an excellent PR man - his failure to balance the Reds accounts this season means I cannot see how he can really help Wrexham unless they have a multi-millionaire saviour like Patrick Cryne waiting to back them.
