Reds Boss Andy Ritchie has been named manager of the month for March.
Chris Kamara told Sky Sports: "Having only taken from Paul Hart recently, he has done fantastically well. He deserves special praise for steering Barnsley to a superb unbeaten run."
Meanwhile Reds chairman Gordon Shepherd said: "He's doing a great job: five games, two draws and three wins isn't a bad record for anyone.
"There is an air of optimism about the place. The players are playing for Andy, there are smiles on faces.
"There is a fun atmosphere which has extended in to the admin side of the business."
He added: "His No 2 Rick Holden isn't doing such a bad job either.
"Watching the two of them on the sidelines, they are constantly cajoling and encouraging the players and it's working."
If results and performances are maintained until the end of the season, Tykes Mad thinks Andy Ritchie must be offered the job full-time.
