Former Barnsley manager Mark Robins has left League 1 side Coventry City to take over at Huddersfield Town.
Robins managed Barnsley between September 2009 and May 2011, before leaving the Reds after a dispute over financial issues and remained out of the game until taking over at the Ricoh Arena in September last year.
He has overseen a real upturn in fortunes at Coventry, taking them from the relegation zone into the play-off contention.
Huddersfield have been without a manager since 24th January, when ex-Leeds boss Simon Grayson was relieved of his duties after a poor run. Chairman Dean Hoyle told the clubs official website:
"Obviously retaining our Championship status is vital, but we also needed a manager who buys into the club's football philosophy and structure. We believe Mark is that man.
"Mark has shown his skill in getting the most from the resources at his disposal, none more so than his recent achievements at Coventry; within five months he has pulled that side away from the League One relegation zone and given them a genuine chance of being involved in the promotion mix."
