The rumour mill has gone into overdrive today following more talk of potential signings for the Reds.
Despite names such as Jon Parkin, Andy Keogh and Adam Le Fondre being banded about all summer so far, the two names are completely new rumours.
Firstly, the Mirror has reported that the Reds and Doncaster are battling to sign young Tottenham centre-half Steven Caulker.
The 18-year-old defender had an extremely succesful season-long loan spell with Yeovil Town last season, picking up four of the club's five end of season awards. He made 44 appearances for the Glovers.
The second rumour going around again highlights the ambition of manager Mark Robins if true. Slovenian international Robert Koren is on the radar after leaving West Brom.
The 49-cap midfielder would have to take quite a large pay cut for the Reds to lure him to Oakwell but with a proven Championship record and a goal for Slovenia at this summer's World Cup against Algeria, all signs point to him being a fantastic signing.
Robins has already secured the services of winger Jim O'Brien, defenders Jason Shackell and Jay McEveley, midfielder Goran Lovre and striker Liam Dickinson.
