Chris Shuker has been named in The League One Team of The Week for the second time this season.
Shuker who was selected after the opening day victory over Swindon was again named after the draw with Brentford at the weekend.
This is somewhat baffling to me as he has had a fairly subdued season so far in my opinion although I hear he was impressive at Swansea.
Meanwhile Reds boss Andy Ritchie has spoken of his frustration at trying to sign new players before tonight’s deadline.
Ritchie also claimed a League Two club quoted him £300,000 for a striker and he has insisted he will not throw money at players whilst any new signings must be improvements on the current squad
