Team News
Barnsley are boosted by the return to fitness of defenders Lewin Nyatanga and Martin Cranie.
Nyatanga, 25 who joined the club in the summer from Bristol City is yet to make his second “debut” after picking up a knee injury just before the opening day of the season whilst 26 year old Cranie suffered the same fate in the Capital One Cup tie with Scunthorpe back in August.
The Reds rearguard is further bolstered by the arrivial of Peter Ramage on loan from Crystal Palace and he could be set for his debut
There will be one enforced change upfront however with Marcus Pedersen, who opened his goal account last time out, sidelined with an ankle injury picked up on international duty. He is likely to be replaced by Chris Dagnall.
Paddy McCourt is also pushing for a debut after building up his fitness during the last fortnight of training.

Interesting Stats
Four of the last six meetings between these two clubs have ended in draws, and both of the last two at the City Ground have been goal-less.
The Reds need one more win to level the head-head up at 26 wins apiece.
Barnsley have failed to win any of their last five trips to the City Ground and just one of the last 14 stretching back to 1948.
A 1-0 win in September 1948 was the last time Barnsley won there in the second tier but they are undefeated in their last three visits, all draws. As mentioned before the most recent two were 0-0 blanks but Barnsley are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Championship this season.
Nottingham Forest have started the season in fine form with their 2-1 defeat at Wigan last time out ending their run of four wins and two draws from their opening six games.
However those two stalemates immediately preceeded the defeat at the DW Stadium, meaning Billy Davies’ side have failed to win any of their last three matches.
They have won three and drawn one of their four games at the City Ground so far this season and their home defeat to Leicester on the final day of last season is their only reverse on their own patch in the last 12 matches.
