Interesting Stats
These two sides have met only three times in history and it is all tied up at one win each and one draw, whilst both teams have scored three goals.
This will be only the second ever meeting at Yeovil and Barnsley lost the other one 2-1 back in 2005.
Yeovil have drawn each of their last three matches with the score-lines reading 3-3, 2-2, 1-1 but they have lost just two of their last 10 Championship games.
Before Yeovil’s midweek draw at Leicester, both they and Barnsley had seen their previous four wins all come on the same date. Barnsley finally ended that run by winning on Tuesday whilst Yeovil were pegged back in the last minute at the King Power Stadium.
