After failing to hold another lead at Chesterfield, Paul Hart said: "I thought we were very unfortunate not to win the game. I do not like to blame or name referees but I cannot understand what went on out there today. We got nothing and the decision right at the end was a disgrace.
"We had chances and we should have put them away but we should have had a penalty in the first half as well. It was a two handed push and it was amazing that it was missed.
"The conditions were shocking but we were coping well and I think it needed the referee to step in to change the game.
"We got in well in the first half but knew it was always going top be difficult after the break. Having said that we were coping quite well".
However, Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland praised referee Mike Dean.
He said: "I thought it was a great game for any neutrals - full of incidents and full of goals. We showed a lot of character and spirit because when you go 2-0 down it's never easy.
"We played well in the first half and we pushed them so it was a shock for everyone to come in two goals behind.
"I think overall the officials were excellent. You can always look at individual situations but it's never easy for a referee in conditions like that with a swirling wind."
