Spurs took the lead on 52 minutes through a penalty from Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. Luka Modric added a second with a header with quarter of an hour left.
Henri Camara pulled one back in the 88th minute but Pavlyuchenko finished it off with a fine goal from the edge of the area.
