Reds striker Istvan Ferenczi is celebrating his second successive call-up to the Hungary national squad today.
Late last year, "Stan" thought his chance had gone with the national side but he earned a surprise call-up for the 1-0 defeat to Slovenia in March and has now kept his place in the squad for the double header with Greece and Croatia at the end of May.
The Magyars play thier first matches under new coach Erwin Koeman on May 24th v Greece and and then the conquerors of England- Croatia a week later. Both games will be played in Budapest.
Ferenczi has 8 caps for Hungary and two goals. He has had a slighlty disappointing second season at Oakwell this campaign after bursting onto the English sence last term. In 2007-2008 he made 42 apperances in all competitons scoring 6 goals.
