The seven players whose services are no longer required by Robins will be Daniel Bogdanovic, Anderson de Silva, Rob Kozluk, Darren Moore, Jonathan Macken, Simon Heslop and Michael Coulson.
Bogdanovic has turned down a much improved contract with the club and will leave the club when his contract expires with interest from Reading reported. He signed from Lokomotiv Sofia in early 2009 and has netted 19 goals in 53 appearances.
Midfielder Anderson signed from Everton in 2008 after a successful loan spell with the club and went on to make 89 appearances, scoring 6 goals.
Full-back Kozluk signed on a free transfer from Sheffield United in July 2007 and made 84 appearances for the club in three seasons.

Simon Heslop came through the ranks at Oakwell but only managed one league appearance and has had loan spells in the Conference with Kidderminster, Kettering, Northwich, Tamworth, Halifax and Luton Town.
Young striker Coulson signed from Scarborough in 2006 and made 30 appearances for the club and scored twice, both in FA Cup games.
Also, loanees Filipe Teixeira, Carl Dickinson and Ryan Shotton have returned to West Brom and Stoke City respectively.
Meanwhile, Player of the Year Hugo Colace has been offered a new deal with the club after a fine season in which he racked up eight goals from midfield.
Rumours also suggest that the Reds are set to go north of the border to sign Dundee United striker David Goodwillie but nothing has been officially confirmed.
