New Reds signing Paul Warhurst could return to the side but will probably have to make do with a place on the bench after being cup-tied in midweek. Steve Hayward did a good job as a defensive midfielder in Tuesday's FA Cup win over Bristol City.
Tony Gallimore (knee) is definitely out after surgery as are Peter Handyside and Lee Crooks.
