"We knew it was always going to be a battle and this is never an easy place to come but we did what we set out to do and that was get three points.
"I thought we looked solid out there and defended really well as a unit. We had a couple of hairy moments but we came away with a win in the end.
"We do not really work on quick corners but I have always told the lads to take them if they are on. They did that and it worked for us today.
"We had dropped points in the last week and we knew it would be a tough place to come and get things back on track. We would have been happy with a draw if I am being totally honest but the lads are delighted in there. A point would have been a good result but we are delighted to get three.
"We had to accept that Facey was going to win a lot of ball and I think the lads defended very well in the second half. We could have ended up with more at the end and we took the wrong option at times.
"Overall I am very, very pleased tonight and the lads are delighted".
