Tykes Reject Shrimpers Bid!!!!

According to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, the club have rejected a bid from fellow promoted outfit Southend United for a current team player.
Sources suggest the player in question is striker cum winger Paul Hayes and the figure £100,000.
With The Reds being forced to play Hayes former club Scunthorpe United a total of £150,000 The Reds have immediately rejected the League One Champions bid.
Barnsley are still looking to strengthen their goal-keeping and attacking options with boss Andy Ritchie hoping to have a couple of player in by Saturdays big Championship kick-off against Cardiff City when The Reds come up against old boys Stephen McPhail and Michael Chopra.
