Barnsley captain Mitch Ward is still in talks about a possible new deal.
The out of contract midfielder is reported as wanting to stay and Glyn Hodges told the Barnsley official website: "We are still talking to Mitch and we are hopeful that something can be sorted out within our financial limits".
