Steven Watt has returned to Chelsea after his one-month loan deal ended on Saturday. Watt had been struggling with a groin problem and could only make the bench for the excellent 3-0 success at Swindon.
There may be a chance of him coming back to Oakwell in January if fully fit and the move suits both parties.
Reds boss Andy Ritchie told the Official Site:
Steven was still a little sore and had a slight groin problem so he did not start the game.
I will be speaking with Chelsea again next week but I think Steven wants to go back there and get this problem solved although we could look at bringing him back to Barnsley in the transfer window"
Steven made 3 appearances for the Reds and scored the last minute equaliser against Rotherham just over a week ago.

Meanwhile striker Daniel Nardiello is recovering from his torn hamstring a lot quicker than expected. Nads was expected to be sidelined until after Christmas but he could yet make the festive fixtures.
Assistant manager and Head Physio Rick Holden told the Official Site:
" Daniel is making vast improvements almost everyday and his hamstring injury is getting a lot better.
He has a good chance of being back in contention in the next fortnight so it will be a massive boost to have him fit for the Christmas run in."
