Barnsley Football Club have today released their squad numbers for the 2008-2009 Coca Cola Championship season.
Goalkeeper Heinz Muller moves from No.22 to No.1 in place of Nick Colgan (indicating that he may be Simon Davey's first choice when fit). There's also moves up the "ladder" for Stephen Foster (from 16 to 6) and Luke Steele (from 31 to 17).
The new boys have also being allocated their first Barnsley squad numbers.
£1.2m striker Iain Hume has taken the No.7 shirt from Sam Togwell who has dropped down to 27.
Darren Moore takes the No.4 shirt from departed former captain Paul Reid; Argentine Hugo Roberto Colace wears No.5 (previously worn by Rob Kozluk who has taken the No. 3 shirt from Lewin Nyatanga.).
Frenchman Mounir El Haimour has been handed No.11 which had two occupants during 2007-2008 in Grant McCann and then Daniel Nardiello.
Captain Brian Howard retains the No.10 shirt.
