Werling Goes To Ell

Former Barnsley loanee Dominik Werling has returned to Yorkshire... and gone on trial to League One side Leeds United.

The Roberto Carlos lookalike had a successful six month loan spell at Oakwell from Turkish side Sakaryaspor but turned down the offer of a permanent contract, with his agent holding out for money. It now seems he will try his luck with Dennis Wise's promotion chasers. Whether his agent will get the terms he desires from a club still feeling the effects of their financial meltdown remains to be seen.

Meanwhile The Reds are set to be cheered to the rafters in tonight's FA Cup Fourth Round tie at Southend United.

ELEVEN Official Coaches will be heading to Roots Hall after fans took advantage of the free tickets on offer. Daniel Nardiello is set to make his second Barnsley debut on a ground where he hit two goals in a 3-1 win last season that went a long way to Barnsley preserving their Championship status
