Barnsley's under fire manager Simon Davey has risked further wrath from disgruntled supporters by lamenting a fan who rung up a radio station to have a go at Aston Villa's Martin O'Neil.
If The Reds do not beat Crystal Palace tomorrow night at Oakwell, Davey's position could become untenable but he was laughing as he told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I've driven into work this morning, and the amount of supporters slating Martin O'Neil was horrific. They're calling him tactically naïve, and it was a fella who works in a factory!"
Maybe we should give him a chance and see if he puts our best winger into a crowded central midfield….
