Left back Tom Williams signed on a free transfer for League One newcomers Gillingham last night.
Williams who was often barracked by fans for his litany of mistakes joined the Gills late last night.
There was no fee involved in the transfer but a significant sell-on clause has been included.
Tom Williams was signed by previous manager Paul Hart on a free transfer from Birmingham City in summer 2004 and made 43 first team appearances for the Reds.
With no replacement in the offing it now looks like Robbie Williams will get the chance to make the left back berth his own.
