"We have had to contend with the wind in the last two matches and that has been a major factor again today. You could not get a passing game going and the ball just got caught in the wind. Those were the conditions again today and it was not a classic local derby.
"At the end of the day we have picked up a point and that is one nearer where we want to be.
"I thought we had the better of the first half hour and could have probably been in front at half time but the conditions were very difficult.
"The game just drifted away from both teams and I felt that the best players on the park were the two goalkeepers and four central defenders. That says a lot really.
"There were a lot of tackles flying out there and I think the referee was a little sharp to brandish some of the cards. It is a point and we have kept that gap there between us and Sheffield Wednesday.
"Tuesday is now the most important game and it is more important that Chelsea. We have to start winning matches and that begins again at Blackpool. We have to start picking up more points on the road starting on Tuesday night.
"We have kept two clean sheets, which is a positive, but we have also not managed to score in those matches, which is a negative".
