"Over the game I thought we deserved something. We did not put our chances away and when you do not score then that can always happen.
"We hit the post twice, had a stonewall penalty waved away and things just did not go our way.
"This relegation battle will twist and turn in the next two weeks but we have to make sure that we take care of our own business. We did not do that today.
"We will come back in next week, work hard and make sure we do it against Charlton. We should be sitting here now talking about being safe, We have not done that so we have to do it next week.
"It is a mans game out there and sometimes we did well against that and at others we didn't today.
"We now have to make sure we finish the job against Charlton, They have nothing to play for now and will be a different animal here. They will be able to play with freedom and we have to be ready for that.
"It is hurting today and we have to get that out of our system and shake it out of us this week.
"There will be plenty of twists and turns still to come. The most important thing is that it is still on our hands and we have to do our own business next week. There are big games all over next week but none is bigger than ours.
"I am confident that we will not go down. We just have to make sure of it next week. We always seem to do things that hard way.
"It was a blatant penalty. I have seen the video and it is a definite pull on Kayode (Odejayi). We do not seem to get those decisions at the moment.
"It was a very soft goal to concede and came at a time when we were well on top. We were hit by a break away and gave them a very soft goal which we should have defended better".
