"I thought we were second best today through most of the game right from the start. We had to change and match them to get going forward. I thought we were unlucky not to get back into it and conceded late at the death. Leicester were outstanding today and put us on the back foot from the start. We had set up to do that to them but could not do it. It is very disappointing but we have to move on. "We set up to have a go atthem but they had better played on the day. We were second best for long periods of the first half until we changed things but we needed to match them. The second half was better.
"It would have been the goal of the season from Nathan (Doyle) and their keeper has got a touch to it. "We wanted to be on the front foot from the start and ended up on the back one. I thought we froze a little when Leicester put us on the back foot and we needed to change the team. It is disappointing that those changes needed to be made. "We were set up in the first half to open up and have a go at Leicester. It did not work and that is why we changed it. "It is not a game to forget because we have to learn from it and that is what can happen when you set up to have a go. We were on the back foot and the players selected were not capable on the day to go and change that. We were lacking grit at times today. Sometimes we go to win the game without following through in the tackle and lose out. "We have to win on Tuesday night now without a shadow of a doubt". Mark was talking to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk
