"Goran (Lovre) has gone to hospital and we will know more later. He was knocked out and unresponsive on the pitch so he has been taken straight up there. Hopefully we will have some good news. (N.B it has since been confirmed Lovre is fine and was discharged from hospital last night)
"If we were out of form after the first week of the season then Crystal Palace were an in-form side and we limited them to nothing from open play really. It was important to get off the mark here today and the only down side on the performance was that it was an own goal.
"I thought we created chances and it was important to win the match here. We are trying to do things differently this season.
"On the back of the week we have had - and it has only been one week - it was important to win. We have a good side. I love watching these lads play. I love seeing them in training and when we settle down we will be a really good side. It was important to get a win just because of the outside pressures.
"We are trying to make a big change to the way things have been here. We have seen signs today but nothing like what I know this group are capable of".
