Barnsley 1-1 Derby: Post Match Reaction

Last updated : 20 September 2010 By Rob Miles (BarnsleyBoy)

"I thought we did ok at times and at others we were stretched. We created enough to have won it but we could have lost the game as well.

"I thought there was a little bit of lack of shape from both sides because both wanted to win it. On balance we have to be disappointed with a point but it could have been worse. It could have been better.

"We did not hit the highs of Tuesday. It was a poor goal to concede and we are making elementary mistakes at times. It is down to a lack of concentration at times. We have to be better than that if we want to do well this season.

"We caused plenty of problems for them but for ourselves as well. That has to be worked on and our concentration levels have to improve.

"There is no doubt that we could have won it and we are disappointed not to have done that. Sometimes you have to give credit to Derby because both sides wanted to win the game.

"At the moment it feels as though we have lost and it is a missed opportunity without a doubt. It's just a flat feeling really especially after the euphoria of Tuesday night. That was always going to be the danger and we could have done much better today".
