"We should have won it without a doubt. Some of our approach play was excellent today and we looked really slick. "We had enough of the ball and enough opportunities. We tried to win the game and nearly did it but we need to be more ruthless. "It took a stunning goal today to get us onto the scoresheet and we need to score some scruffy ones too. "We had a big shout for a penalty and hit the bar five or six times with the same shot. You will see penalties given up and down the country for less than that.
"I am happy with the way we played but there is still plenty of work to do. We created enough to win three matches but credit to Hull.
"Some of our football was brilliant but we need to be more ruthless".
