"I have to give all the credit to my players. They have worked extremely hard for the first five games of the season without getting their rewards in four of those.
"Iain (Hume) did extremely well. He scored a magnificent goal and put over a great corner for the second.
"I thought both sides looked nervous at times and you could expect that when you look at the runs we were on. Sometimes players do things that they would not normally do.
"Something had to turn for us and I thought we looked a different side after the goal. It has been a long month for us and we were overdue a win. We have worked extremely hard.
"I am just really pleased for the players".
