"I do not think it was a game to bring the crowds back to Oakwell but the most important thing was the three points. We knew exactly what to expect from Coventry and we stood up to that.
"We know we never get anything against Coventry and we have that rammed down our throats every time so it is nice to put that hoodoo to bed at the start of a New Year.
"The most important thing was the points. We came through it today and competed against their style of play. We deserve a lot of credit for that.
"It was a great three points, it was as simple as that".
