"I am delighted. Everybody who comes here is put under pressure. Blackpool get numbers forward and move the ball around very well.
"They have a system that they are used to and play very well. The players had worked it out themselves by the end of the first half and we started to create some bits going forward.
"I thought we were the brighter of the two teams in the opening 15 minutes or so of the second half. We then had a penalty given against us but the lads kept going and the game went both ways really.
"We felt aggrieved about the penalty really but then we were given one at the other end at the end. In between that we scored from a set piece, which is always good to see.
"It is very pleasing and certainly has given us a boost after last week.
"I thought our supporters were magnificent throughout today. A lot of them have travelled over and had to sit in that uncovered stand in the wind and rain and did not stop getting behind us".
