"It was a topsy-turvy game and both keepers were busy, but we've got to do better than that.
"We came back well and I thought we might even nick it before the end, but I'm disappointed we were 2-0 down in the first place and that's the biggest let-down.
"We were too loose in the first 45 minutes. We didn't defend through the heart of the team and it cost us.
"From then on, we were fighting to get back into the game instead of fighting to win it.
"Cup football is hard to predict, especially when it goes to penalties, but I'm very disappointed because I wanted us to go as far as possible.
"It's a bitter-sweet night for Sam Winnall because he scored a great goal and then missed his penalty, but these things happen and I'm sure he will dust himself down."
