"We should just start with the last ten minutes really. It was a physical game but I thought we stood up well to that and gave a good account of ourselves for 80 minutes. I thought the referee handled the game well.
"We were unfortunate to concede a goal in that manner but we tried to get back into the game. We just did not have enough to get something from it.
"Jamal (Campbell-Ryce) missed a penalty on Saturday but wanted to take another. The keeper went the right way and made a good save but we probably would not have scored our goal if that had gone in.
"We came here to win the game and had some chances. It is a difficult place to come and get points and they are very direct in their play. We stood up to that for 80 minutes and contested well.
"It was just handbags at the end really. I was disappointed with the multi-ball system at the end because there were 20-odd balls on the pitch when it was goalless and none when they scored. It should be the same for both teams. There were a few words exchanged but it was nothing really.
"I though everybody handled the game well.
"It is not for me to draw a line under the Iain Hume debate. Iain is dealing with that with his lawyers but he is still not playing for Barnsley FC at the moment.
"I thought we did enough to get a point for 80 minutes and could have nicked it. They are very powerful, very direct and difficult to play against. We stood up to that".
