"We wanted to play Swansea at their own game today and we came off second best but that is the type of football we want to play. That is what we have been playing for most of the season really.
"I thought we defended pretty well or as well as you can against that. In the second half we were better and we stayed in the game and made changes which meant we created two or three things. To be fair their keeper has made two or three outstanding saves and we had a nailed on penalty appeal in the first half.
"It was just one of those things at the end but it was an unbelievable save before Paul Hayes tapped it in.
"It was just not our game today but I am not too disappointed with the performance against a very, very good footballing side.
"We need a player who will attack the space and score goals like Garry O'Connor. We have missed him but we will have to do without him at Nottingham Forest. It is an anomaly that goes against us because you have to register a player at 12 noon the day before a game and the window is closed then".
