"It was not a brilliant start and I understand why I have been given the job a lot clearer now. There is a lot to be done to get it how I want it. That was the sort of thing we knew about and we have to be a lot better at the basics.
"There is a crisis of confidence in those players. We had to look at things in the first half and change it because we were being over run. That is not how that system was supposed to work.
"There is a lot to work on but there were some good things out there. There is a lack of confidence in the players and we needed to be more blood and thunder. That was a game we should have imposed ourselves on and we did not.
"Jamal (Campbell-Ryce) has been taken to hospital with a pooling of blood in his eye. We have to wait and see but it does not look too good. It does not look promising for Tuesday.
"It has given me a few more pointers and ideas and this is where the job starts. Actions speak louder than words".
