"We gave the opposition what they wanted - a goal start - and that settled their nerves.
"We defended quite well and then we started asking questions. We should have been a bit more clinical with our final pass in the offensive third.
"But I wasn't too disappointed. The disappointment was conceding the second goal and that was the changer.
"But we didn't give up and I am really proud of the players and we got a very good consolation goal.
"It would be nice if we could be a little bit closer with the quality of calibre of players and that is what we are trying to do by producing our own players."
