Liam McAlinden claimed the winner as Fleetwood came from behind to beat Barnsley 2-1 on their first visit to Oakwell.
Peter Ramage had given the hosts an early lead but Conor McLaughlin soon levellled before McAlinden scored what turned out to be the winner 12 minutes before half-time.
Central defender Ramage bagged his third goal of the season in the fifth minute, firing into the roof of the net from close range after visiting goalkeeper Chris Maxwell could only parry Conor Hourihane's 25-yard free-kick.
Fleetwood full-back McLaughlin found the top-left corner from the edge of the box to equalise nine minutes later before unmarked forward McAlinden tapped in at the back post from Nick Haughton's left-wing corner to edge the away side ahead with 33 minutes played.
McAlinden, on loan from Wolves, wasted a chance to grab his second two minutes before the break when he fired tamely at Barnsley keeper Ross Turnbull from close range.
Tykes striker Kane Hemmings should have restored parity in the 70th minute but somehow failed to make contact with an inviting cross from substitute full-back George Smith
